Q:  How long have you been associated with the league and in what capacity?

A: I have been a part of the league for six years now. My husband started it when he became a head coach and three years ago I became a coach as well. I have enjoyed volunteering at races and being a part of the Rules and Appeals Committee.

Q:  What are a couple of your favorite Mt. Bike Trails?

A:  I love my local trails, some of my favorites are Glacier View and Stairway to Heaven. Outside of that, Gooseberry Mesa in Utah is a kick, Crank it Up, Funner in Bend, Loon Lake Loop in Idaho, and the Alpine Trail in Oakridge, Oregon.

Q:  Have you or do you have kids in the league?

A:  I have had two kids in the league. Currently, my son is racing varsity and I am excited to see his growth this year.

Q:  What is your favorite thing about the league?

A:  Hands down my favorite thing about the league is the time spent with so many amazing young people. As an educator, I see lots of programs for kids, but I have never experienced events with as much positive energy as I see at the league races.
