Carolyn Hope

Board President

Q:  How long have you been associated with the league and in what capacity?

A:  My son participated in the league during its inaugural year.  I was involved in the league when it was incorporated into Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, where I was a board member for eight years and also helped launch the after school youth ride series and youth educational programs.

Q:  What are a couple of your favorite Mt. Bike Trails?

A:  Oh my, too many to choose from!  Raging River in North Bend, SST/Backdoor at Galbraith, Rosie Boa/Leavenworth Ski Hill, Devil’s Gulch in Cashmere

Q:  What is your favorite thing about the league?

A:   I appreciate that the league provides recreational and competitive opportunities for youth.  I also value the quality of coaching and the team building and leadership development skills that students gain while participating in the league.  Lastly, I love how the league brings families together to mountain bike!

Q. What are your cycling plans for the future?

A. This fall, I plan to race the Cave Creek Classic in Arizona and ride Sedona for a week.  Next year, I hope to ride a few of the Epic Series Off Road races including the one in Bentonville, Arkansas.
