Roslyn was yet another super fun race! I had a really bad cold the day of the race, which really damaged my race performance. However, some good things came out of riding so much more slowly than usual! I got to ride with some people I normally don’t see during my race. As I got passed by some of the JV girls, we got to ride together and chat, and I learned a lot of fun things about them I never knew before! It was a great experience riding with new people. I also got lapped by some of my friends, like Matthew from Mt Si! I’m so impressed with how fast some of the riders have gotten. Lastly, I was so amazed and proud of how nice everyone was when passing. I got lots of encouragement from fellow racers and everyone made sure they didn’t pass until it was safe. Great job everyone!

My favorite parts of the race were enjoying the nice, sunny weather, cheering people on with cowbells when I lost my voice, and flying off a rock drop on the way down the big loop’s decent! I can’t wait until the State Championship race in Spokane, I’ll see you all there!
