Coaching Development Program
The Washington Student League Coaching Development Program provides you with all the tools you need to be a successful coach.
A successful coach:
- possesses good character and is a positive role model,
- has a strong commitment to positive youth development,
- is motivational and inspires athletes to improve and work hard,
- has the capacity to work in partnership with co-coaches,
- is good at communicating with riders and parents
Cost: Annual Coaching License $30/year (includes 1-year membership to Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance + $12 Background Screening
Coaches do not have to be experienced mountain bikers.
Any person who lives a healthy lifestyle and is committed
to improving the lives of youth can volunteer as a coach.
