Coaching Development Program

Our coaches are the cornerstone of our program. We want our coaches to confidently provide a safe and positive environment for our student riders while making mountain biking fun and applicable to life. Lessons learned on a bike are lessons learned in life.

There are many aspects to coaching and team management and our Coaching Development Program provides you with the tools you need to be a successful coach.

A successful coach:

  • possesses good character and is a positive role model
  • has a strong commitment to positive youth development
  • is motivational and inspires athletes to improve and work hard
  • has the capacity to work in partnership with co-coaches
  • is good at communicating with riders and parents
