Here is a quick checklist to get your team up and running this season and hopefully with some organization.

Your Management Team

It takes a village. Have you identified who will be helping you? And don’t forget your team parents!

Recruiting and Engaging Team Volunteers

  • Have you decided on your team mission and goals for the season?
  • Create a practice schedule.
  • Evaluate what needs to happen to ensure a successful season – you shouldn’t try wear each and every hat that it takes to manage your team.

Team Organization and Tasks

Hold a Team Meeting with Parents and Students

  • Welcome and get to know each other.
  • Communicate team mission and goals for the season.
  • Communicate parent and student expectations.
  • Recruit and engage parents.
  • Help everyone get registered.

Start Training and Teaching
